You Can Do It

An Excerpt from The Childbearing Woman: Pregnancy, Childbirth, Nursing, and Motherhood by Tiffany Tyndall — Half of In Summary

Have an eternal perspective; learn to see things from a higher point of view, knowing that you matter and that the work that you do matters.  Find ways to stay motivated and happy even when you don’t feel so motivated or happy.  Never succumb to what your circumstances might be dictating to you.  Instead, surrender all to God, letting him guide you as you make your way through each day.

Being a childbearing woman is a beautiful blessing at each stage, and with God’s help we can thrive with each step and in all our duties and responsibilities.  There’s not only joy at the end of the road; there’s joy to behold each and every day.  God’s faithfulness and mercies are new every morning, and he helps us to rise with new faithfulness and mercy in our heart each morning.

Keeping these thoughts in mind, we can have confidence in being the childbearing woman that we are because God’s hand is upon us and his strength is within us to do whatever it is that we have to do to care for the life he has entrusted to us.
