When I see a parallel between a frustrating or painful part of my current life and a frustrating or painful event in a previous part of my life, I will acknowledge the connection, and then let it go.
By perseverating on the fact that there is a parallel instead of being grateful for simple insight into the whys of life, I are not helping myself by holding on to past hurts.
I will be kind to myself by giving myself a good life now, in the present – now that my life is mine to steer.
I do not need to hold on to the frustration or the pain any longer.
I will break the old destructive cycle and put a new one of restoration and peace into motion.
