The holiday season can be so draining on us—there’s a lot of work to do in order to do it right, even on a small scale! But instead of focusing on what it all costs us (physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially), it helps if we can focus on what it does to us—how it transforms us. And also how our active participation in the season has a positive transformative effect on those around us. What a gift to give our children and spouse—enthusiasm! So even if it’s hard (and it most certainly will be—because anything worth anything will cost us something), try your best to do your part to make it a happy holiday for you and yours.
