Eat and Be Happy

Sometimes too much thinking just leaves us more confused than when we started.  So when our head starts spinning, go back to the basics: just eat and be happy.  Keep things simple.  Food provides nourishment, comfort, and enjoyment—not to mention escape and distraction if we’re having a tough time doing this parenting thing.  Not every problem needs to be solved—at least not right now, this second.  So let’s learn to let ourselves eat well while we also let ourselves live well—essentially, that we let ourselves be happy.  There is no reason why we can’t enjoy our lives the way we want to.  Nothing is really and truly standing in our way except ourselves.
