Feel it. Try not to bottle it up—validate your emotions and experiences.
Contain it. Try not to take it out on other people.
Release It. Try not to hold on to it a second longer than it’s necessary to re-get-in-touch-with your reality (which is much more bright, in actuality, than we might feel right now).
Receive any extended/attempted comfort. This life is hard enough on its own without pushing people away who are honestly just trying to make things better for you.
