Breaking out of the perfectionist life means that we will become more acquainted with our human side. We are not robots, and we are not superheroes. We are mere mortals who make mistakes and who have limitations just like everyone else. The sooner we accept and embrace (as if we were giving ourselves a kind hug) our own weaknesses and flaws, the sooner we can possess a deeper well of enjoyment in this life and a truer empathy towards others. Plus, we will be more willing to try new things, to be creative, to be spontaneous, and to take initiative in life.
