Act Like You’ve Been Doing This for a While (Because You Have)

Remember that you are not new to this.  You’ve been at this for a while.  When you are tempted to doubt yourself and to feel less-than and to second-guess everything and to keep yourself down and to continually allow yourself to barely tread water, stop all those false thoughts in their tracks.  Hold your head (and your body) up, and carry yourself with poise and grace.  Do this thing with all your heart because this is your area.  There is no need to compare to anyone else or to measure yourself against someone else’s standards.  Use only your own.  And even then, be reasonable.  Have some confidence, and assert yourself with the quiet strength that you’ve always possessed.
